Missouri
requires front license plates, which is lame.
Do any of you have a recommendation for a no-drill option?

Tow hook license plate holder. It screws into your front tow hook. All you have to do is take off the little piece of removable plastic on your front bumper and screw it into the tow hook opening.
That MB has its tow hook location on the passenger side. You can see where the square plastic bit is (where the chrome meets the body color towards the bottom)

I believe the closest state to me without that law is Arkansas.

Front plates should be a sticker, and rear plates as they are

Front plates are fine. Needing to damage your car to mount a front plate is dumb.

if your getting nailed by an SUV that size a licences plate mount isn’ t going to make much of a difference in the outcome.

We have various methods here in the U.K., one is double side adhesive foam pads. Reading it here doesn't sound solid but it really is.

Zip tie to the grill, or roll duct tape back on itself to make double sided tape
